Jack is a writer, advocate, and lifelong Democrat who has spent his career at the intersection of law, media, and public service.

After graduating from Yale University, he earned a joint J.D./M.B.A. from Harvard Law and Business Schools. His academic and professional work reflect his belief that government can be used as a tool for good.

Jack has worked in both the private and public sectors, including in law and policy, and he’s written for major national outlets. In recent years, he’s built a strong online presence focused on civic-minded content that helps people engage with politics and understand how decisions in Washington affect their daily lives.

During the 2024 election cycle, Jack served as a surrogate for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, campaigning across the country to connect with young voters and promote a message of unity, strength, and service. He also served as a delegate for New York State at the 2024 Democratic National Convention and worked for the U.S. Department of State.

Jack comes from a family with a long tradition of public service, but his commitment to this work comes from his own experience of growing up in New York surrounded by teachers, nurses, immigrants, and small business owners who make this city strong.

Now, Jack wants to take his fight to Congress to make sure New Yorkers have a voice that represents their values and amplifies their fight. He’s focused on rooting out corruption, defending civil rights and personal freedoms, making housing affordable, protecting public health, and rebuilding trust in government.

He’s running to represent New York’s 12th Congressional district where he lives, was born and raised, and where his family has lived for five generations.

Schlossberg is a devoted son of Ambassador Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg who designed the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island museums. He is the only grandson of President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. His paternal grandfather, Alfred Schlossberg, was also elected president… of his synagogue uptown and spent decades working in the garment business with an office in the Empire State Building. Public service and community leadership run on both sides of his family.

Jack believes New York can lead the nation again by showing that when we look out for one another, we can still do big things together.
